Alfa Air was recommended by a neighbor for Radon mitigation systems so I gave them a shot. They were prompt and professional, did a nice job with the install, and really reduced the radon levels in my finished basement. After the install they came back with special equipment to re-test the Radon so we could see the performance. I felt the price was also reasonable. I would recommend this provider to all.

Tech has arrived in the evening ,to place a testing machine in our basement . we just found our dream home , but it had radon gas . we were so worry about family safety. I work from home and basement is my home office, where high radon gas was discovered during radon inspection. Luckily our realtor explained that radon can be mitigated. We contacted Alfa Air Agency, they have installed pipe network and fan to remove the radon gas. since our real estate contract was contingent on radon retest, we requested after mitigation a radon retest too. We were so nervous while waiting in 48h retest time. But all turned just fine , radon dropped a lot , now its same low as natural outdoor level.
We are closing on our dream home in two weeks.

since pandemic I work in my basement, I never heard about radon , but I saw my neighbor has installed some new fan outside. it made me wonder what has happened to them.... thats how i learned about indoor radiation. who could imagine that my home basement office can be deadly dangerous. we cant see it, we can’t smell it, but radon causes cancer . its worth that smoking a pack of cigarets per day .
I did my research and got diy radon test as a starter , results was around 7 pci/l .
I could not believe that little test can be reliable, its just one sample of air, what if its wrong? Thats how I made my appointment with certified radon testing company Alfa Air for get my home basement tested for 48 h , so I can see the full picture, all 49 air radon samples I received a full radon test report same day as machine was picked up from my home.
